Avroy Shlain Cosmetics are running this very awesome special on JS Eua Du Parfum.
For the ones like myself, learning about parfumes and beauty I always wondered what the difference is.
So with the help of Wikipedia...
Eau de toilette (French: [o d(ə) twalɛt]) or toilet water is a lightly scented cologne used as a skin freshener.[1][2][3][n 1] It is also referred to as "aromatic waters" and has a high alcohol content.[5] It is usually applied directly to the skin after bathing or shaving.[6][7] It was originally composed of alcohol and various volatile oils.[8] Traditionally these products were named after a principal ingredient; some being geranium water, lavender water, lilac water, violet water, spirit of myrcia and 'eau de Bretfeld'.[9] Because of this, eau de toilette was sometimes referred to as "flower water".[10]
In modern perfumery, the term eau de toilette is generally used to describe the concentration of fragrance, with eau de toilette being weaker than Eau de Parfum and stronger than Eau de Cologne.[11][12]
OK.
So here is what I know about JS Eau de Parfum.
JS is a fresh Chypre composition of flowery notes where the top blooms with delicate muguet blended with Ylang Ylang, Jasmine and Rose. The exotic spicy middle note is enhanced by Coriander and Patchoully. The perfume is beautifully rounded off with Cedarwood and Oakmoss.
JS is a Floral Aldehydic: Combination of fine fresh floral and woody elements together with Aldehydes which gives a fatty, soapy character.
Top Notes:
Fresh Floral Muguet
Ylang Ylang
Jasmine
Rose
Heart Notes:
Spicy Coriander
Patchoully
Base Notes:
Woody Cedarwood
Oak Moss
Quick tip: Wait for the parfum to settle before smelling the fragrance.
